Lifelong horsewoman, Quarter Horse owner, 4-H leader and youth mentor Phyllis Elliott suffered severe facial injuries when she was kicked by one of her horses on St. Patrick’s Day. After spending 11 days at Beth Israel hospital in Boston and undergoing an 11-hour surgery to repair and reconstruct her shattered facial bones, Phyllis spent another week at a rehab facility in Exeter before coming home to recuperate. Fortunately there was no brain injury and although she is expected to make a complete recovery, Phyllis has a long road to recovery.
If you wish to make a donation to the family, you may do so here. All Paypal fees will be paid by NE News so 100% of your donation will be sent to the Elliotts.
